We at LGIS care about nurturing the whole person. We believe that providing quality education in the setting of a supportive community is the way to produce informed citizens who will be kind, do good work, and bring more peace to this world. Our educational philosophy asserts that students learn best when they are actively involved in their education, when they become responsible for their growth as students when they are expected to work at the highest level of their capabilities, and when their learning is based on life experiences.

The educational program at LGIS incorporates all aspects of human development—intellectual, social, physical, aesthetic, moral—and strives to integrate learning by guiding students to be curious about all that the world has to offer.

LGIS is committed to the creation of a peaceful and secure atmosphere. Through the curriculum, it is our goal that students recognize the importance of their active participation in Local, State, National, and Global issues. With a rich educational program as a foundation, students can contribute positively to the world in which they live.
