Learning beyond Classroom

Activity Based Learning

Benjamin Franklin said: Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.
Activity based learning involves the students by stimulating their senses, such as sight, smell, touch and most importantly involving them. The practices LGIS incorporates into their learning methodologies to mention a few are usage of real objects, themes, projects & presentations, videos, role play, puzzles & games and much more. The teacher here merely is a facilitator and the students learn independently at their own pace.

Sports

Sports help in the overall mental and physical development of a child. Engaging in an active lifestyle today is very important for students. With the right amount of sporting activities, a student can be healthy and also see an improvement in their emotional development. Few benefits of including sports in our curriculum are: being healthy, disciplined, increased fitness level, boost self – esteem, enhances team work, leadership skills and helps be social.
